LeonaLeona Louise Lewis, born 3rd April 1985 is an actress an activist, singer and actress from Britain. Born in the London Borough Of Islington she went to the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, Croydon. Lewis became famous when she was awarded the third and final season on The X Factor 2006 and got a deal worth PS1,000,000 with Syco music. The Kelly Clarkson cover"A Moment Like This" was the winner. Her success continued after she dropped her debut album, Spirit (2007). It received platinum certification in the UK, becoming the fourth-best-selling album in 2000s. Spirit, according to Official Charts Company is the greatest-selling debut album by a female singer. The UK's number-one single, Bleeding Love, remained at the top of the charts at. #1 for seven weeks before becoming the best-selling album of 2007, According to the Official Charts company. The song was among the best-selling in 2008 as well. Lewis won the Billboard Award for the Best New Artist. Echo is her second studio album. She also wrote the hit song "I Love You" to accompany Avatar. Lewis also dropped "Collide" in the year 2011 a joint effort in collaboration with Swedish DJ Avicii. Also, she released Hurt an EP that was her debut extended play. Glassheart (2012) was her third studio album. The album was inspired by dubstep and electronic music. The Glassheart Tour was in the middle of 2013 when she started recording songs to make her first Christmas album. In the following year, Christmas with Love was released, and included the title track "One more sleep" it reached the top three spot within the UK. Lewis was one of the few British female solo artist was the first female artist to reach the Top Five with eight singles. It was a leap over Olivia Newton John's seven-year record.
