Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel was a British actor who gained notoriety for playing Missandei on HBO's fantasy epic "Game of Thrones" (HBO, 2011-19). Born and raised in Southend-on-the-Sea an ocean-side holiday town located in Essex, Emmanuel was drawn to performing from a very young age. Her mother was quick to notice as she grew older, and by the time Nathalie was just three, her parents enrolled her in acting, singing and dancing classes. Emmanuel was an impressive actor, who was developing rapidly. At the close of the 90s, she was a young Nala in "The Lion King," the West End musical that has been acclaimed. When she turned a teenager, Emmanuel began auditioning for parts in television and movies. Her breakthrough came in 2007, when she got chosen to play Sasha Valentine, a British soap opera "Hollyoaks", (Channel 4 95from 2007 to). Emmanuel performed the role for four years before leaving Hollyoaks by the year 2010. Emmanuel had her second break in the year following as she was chosen as Missandei in the HBO show Game of Thrones. She played the interpreter of Daenerys (played by Emilia Clarke). Emmanuel was a part of every season of "Game of Thrones" from the very beginning until the May 2019 season conclusion.
